It seems the formula for this product has been revised as it doesn’t perform the same as the many previous times I purchased and used. The hold is not nearly as strong and firm as previous orders. The consistency is noticeablely softer and more liquid vs. the firm paste in your original formula. If this is the new version I will have to look for another product for my needs that performs better. The previous version had much better hold providing better hair volume for styling. Very disappointed. I used to use a product that has bees wax which was the best I’ve used. I may have to go back to that type of product.

How to use
Warm a dime–nickel amount between palms. Work through dry hair, starting at the roots. Pinch/twist for definition. Add small amounts to build.
how it works
Works best on towel-dried or blow dried hair for the full matte effect. Use fingers to work a small amount of product evenly through hair, repeating the process until desired volume and look is achieved. For best results after applying, use a blow dryer on low heat to finish styling hair.

I really love this product
Even better than Matte. Clay has a slightly firmer hold, but it still looks natural. This could very well be the best product I've ever used to date. I hope the retail stores will carry Clay eventually, but for now I can get it online. A+++

I love this product. I purchased the clay from their website because it was not up anywhere else yet and I was very happy with my purchase. I use the Pomade Clay and the Matte paste. Great combination with the pomade and the clay for easier to clean finish.
